Dark Tranquillity

Après avoir formé Septic Broiler, le chanteur Anders Fridén, les 2 guitaristes Niklas Sundin et Mikael Stanne, le bassiste Martin Heniksson et le batteur Anders Jivarp forment en 1989, à Gothenburg Dark Tranquillity.
Débutant par du Thrash Metal, la formation suédoise s'oriente vite vers le Death.
